Trade Connect terms of use

Marketplace role
Trade Connect helps customers discover local service providers and send contact or quote requests. Providers are independent businesses or professionals, not employees of Trade Connect.
Provider information
Providers are responsible for keeping their profile, pricing, service areas, availability, and contact details accurate. Verification badges indicate that a profile has been reviewed by Trade Connect, but customers should still confirm details before hiring.
Customer requests
When you submit a quote request, your contact details and message are shared with the selected provider so they can respond. Any work, pricing, scheduling, and payment terms are agreed directly between customer and provider.
Prohibited services and conduct
Trade Connect may not be used to list, request, promote, arrange, or complete illegal, illicit, unsafe, fraudulent, exploitative, or harmful services. Providers may not offer services that require a licence, permit, registration, or professional qualification unless they are properly authorised to provide those services.
Prohibited activity includes, but is not limited to, illegal goods or services, stolen property, weapons, drugs or controlled substances, fraudulent documents, scams, intimidation, harassment, adult or exploitative services, and any activity that violates South African law.
Trade Connect may remove listings, hide reviews, suspend accounts, block lead requests, or report activity where we believe the platform is being used in a way that is illegal, unsafe, misleading, or harmful to marketplace trust.
Reviews and moderation
Reviews should be honest, relevant, and based on real experiences. Trade Connect may moderate listings, reviews, or profiles that are misleading, abusive, illegal, or harmful to marketplace trust.
